Comforting Children One Hug at a Time
ABOUT US
Since 2018, CBz Buddies has been providing emotional support to children involved in traumatic situations. We provide first responders and domestic shelters with teddy bears to give to children involved in stressful situations such as accidents, domestic violence, opioid crisis, or any other frightening situation. First responders generally receive no funding for such supportive actions. Our goal is to have teddy bears available to comfort children in every police cruiser, fire truck, and domestic shelter.
In 2020 we partnered with another nonprofit, Good Knights of Lorain County. They build beds for children that do not have one. CBz Buddies provides a cuddly, comforting teddy bear to go along with their bedding package for these disadvantaged children.
